Tycoon in love match with Stone

While his ex-wife Amanda announces that she wants to get married again - although she has no one particular in mind - Prince Andrew’s multi-millionaire pal Johan Eliasch has found himself another new love. She is Hollywood beauty Sharon Stone, the striking star of Basic Instinct - still turning heads at the age of 53 - who has been stepping out with Eliasch for the past two months.

The couple were first spotted together two months ago when shy Eliasch, boss of the Head tennis equipment manufacturer and worth an estimated £250 million, took Sharon to an Oscars party in Los Angeles at the Chateau Marmont Hotel. Since then things have come on a pace and the actress has spoken openly of their burgeoning romance.

In an interview with a French magazine, she said that ‘friendship’ with Johan could be the start of something more.‘Our relationship is so new, but we feel great respect and admiration for one another - two things that are the foundation of possible love,’ she gushed.

Stone was divorced from her second husband, U.S. newspaper editor Phil Bronstein, seven years ago.She subsequently lost a bizarre custody battle with her ex over their adopted son Roan - the court heard she wanted to give the boy Botox, apparently to cure his smelly feet.

The actress has since adopted two other sons, Quinn, now four, and Laird, five.

Eliasch, 49, the Tories’ former deputy treasurer who once loaned the party £1 million before defecting to Labour, was divorced from Amanda in 2007 after 21 years and two children.Both had had affairs - she with the French-born, London-based cosmetic surgeon Dr Jean-Louis Sebagh, and he with striking Brazilian politician Anna Paula Pzevedo, whom he eventually married.

Amanda’s romance fizzled out earlier this year and Anna Paula confirmed that she and Johan had parted, too.

Swedish-born Eliasch declines to talk about his relationship with Sharon, but adds: ‘All I can say is that what was said [in Stone’s interview] is correct.’
